SHIRLEY LOUISE STOYUCK It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Shirley Louise Stoyuck, age 61 years on Thursday, July 22, 2004. Shirley leaves to mourn her sister, Gloria Sokalski, her nieces and nephews, and their families. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Walter, in 1993, and Julia, in 1999, as well as her brother-in-law, Rudolph Sokalski, in 1995. For the past 30 years, Shirley resided in the care of the Manitoba Developmental Centre in Portage la Prairie. Shirley was a gentle, kind and caring soul who will be sorrowfully missed by all those who came to know and love her. She was able to teach us patience, compassion, and love. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at the Manitoba Development Centre,840 - 3rd Street N.E., Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. Omega Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirleys memory to the Residence Benefit Fund, Manitoba Developmental Centre, P.O. Box 1190, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, R1N-3C6. Private Memorial Service in Winnipeg to follow at a later date with Interment at Brookside Cemetery. We know that Shirley is now at peace and free of any sickness or suffering in the loving arms of Jesus.
